Video speech at the 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival Reception of Confucius Institute of

Dear Director Adrian, Adriana, Counselor Li Zhengbo, Chinese Director Wang Bing, teachers and students, 
Buna ziua, tuturor! (Hello everyone!In Romanian) 
It’s my great pleasure to meet you on video during Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival!Let me say a few words to express my feelings at this moment. 
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a reunion day, we are thousands of miles apart to enjoy the brightest and roundest moon in the year, first of all, I wish you a happy holiday! La multi ani! (Happy holidays!In Romanian) 
As the first Chinese director of Brasov Confucius Institute, I have spent six Mid-Autumn Festivals in Brasov, which left me with unforgettable memories of my life. Brasov is my second hometown. Wang Wei, a Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty, has a line in his poem: "On festival occasions more than ever we think of our dearest far away. " When I spent the Mid-Autumn Festival in Brasov, I miss my Chinese relatives and friends. Tonight, in Shenyang, I am thinking of you, my Romanian colleagues and students. 
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest one. Our Confucius Institute is 10 years old, and we have gained a lot. We have more than one thousand students,We have set a major of Chinese language at  Transylvania University of Brasov, we have set Chinese teaching sites in many Romanian cities, and we have organized summer camps. As a Chinese saying goes, "Don’t forget the well-digger, when you drink w water from the well." Looking at the harvest, our thanks go to the presidents of two partner universities for their foresight: Ion Visa and Ion Vasily Abudan of Transylvania University of Brasov; Zhang Fuchang, Wu Yuhou, Shi Tiemao and Dong Yukuan of Shenyang Jianzhu University; our thanks go to teachers and volunteers from both sides for their hard work; our thanks go to Chinese in  Brasov for their help;our thanks go to so many Romanian students who love  Chinese and Chinese culture. 
Wang Bing, the new Chinese director who was appointed two months ago, is a well-educated and kind-hearted person. I hope my Romanian colleagues and students support her work. During the epidemic period, we can not only prevent and control the epidemic, but also do a good job in teaching and learning, so that our Brasov Confucius Institute will do better and better. 
Wang Bo, another poet of the Tang Dynasty had a line, "If you have a friend afar who knows your heart; distance can't keep you two apart.” Six years together has made us lifelong friends. I hope one day, after the pandemic, I will have the opportunity to go back to Brasov Confucius Institute, meet  you, and see the beautiful city again.
Ten years ago, on the Mid-Autumn Festival in Brasov, I wrote a poem called "The Moon’s Shadow in the Cup of Red Wine," which I would like to read to you now: 
Lovesickness like red wine flickers in the cup,
I am alone with the cup on the top balcony.
Dark red wine twinkles under the moonlight,
Steady, the moon fixes its shadow in the cup,
How like my wife’s face that I endlessly love!
Bowing my head to kiss the moon’s shadow in the cup,
The shadow broken, and spread all around,
A little chill spread throughout my body,
I realized my wife is over ten thousand li distant.   
Raising a head to see the full moon in the sky again,
As if my wife knew I kissed her and smiled at me.

2022年布拉索夫孔子学院中秋招待会视频讲话

亲爱的阿德里安院长、阿德里阿娜、李征博参赞，王冰院长，老师们，同学们，
Buna ziua, tuturor! (罗语大家好！）
非常高兴能在中秋节和大家视频见面！我讲几句话表达我此时此刻的心情。
中秋节是个团圆的节日，我们相隔万里共赏一年中最亮最圆月亮，首先祝你们节日快乐！La multi ani! (罗语节日快乐！）
作为布拉索夫孔子学院第一任中方院长，我有6次在布拉索夫过中秋节的经历，这些经历给我留下一生难忘的美好记忆，布拉索夫是我的第二故乡。中国唐朝诗人王维的诗中有一名句：“每逢佳节倍思亲”。在布拉索夫过中秋节时，我想念的是中国的亲人和朋友。今晚，在沈阳，我思念的是你们，我的罗马尼亚同事和学生。
中秋节是收获的节日，我们的孔子学院10岁了，我们收获了很多，我们有了过千的学生，我们在特兰西瓦尼亚大学设置了汉语专业，我们在罗马尼亚的很多城市建立了汉语教学点，我们组织了一次次夏令营......中国有句俗话说”吃水不忘挖井人“，望着丰收成果，我们感谢两所合作大学校长的远见，特兰西瓦尼亚大学的扬·维萨、扬·瓦西里·阿布鲁丹，沈阳建筑大学的张福昌、吴玉厚、石铁矛、董玉宽；感谢中罗双方老师和志愿者的辛勤工作，感谢布拉索夫华人和留学生的帮助，感谢有那么多罗马尼亚朋友喜欢学习汉语和中国文化，让这朵中罗友谊之花开得如此灿烂！
两个月前到任的新任中方院长王冰是位受过良好教育心地善良的人，希望我的罗马尼亚同事和学生多支持她的工作，在疫情期间一方面防控疫情，一方面搞好教学，让我们布拉索夫孔子学院办得越来越好。
唐朝的另一位诗人王勃说”海内存知己，天涯若比邻。“六年相处，使我们成为一生的朋友，期待有一天，我有机会再回布拉索夫孔子学院，看望你们，看望美丽的布拉索夫。
十年前的中秋节，在布拉索夫波亚纳，我写了一首诗《红酒杯里的月影》，现在读给大家：

相思像醇美的红酒在杯中颤抖，
我独自揣着酒杯上到顶楼。
暗红的葡萄酒在月光下闪烁波动，
稳些，让阳台上圆圆的月影在杯中定住，
啊，多像梅让我无限怜爱的面庞！
低头亲吻杯中的影儿，
影儿碎了，向四周散去。
一丝凉意袭来，
意识到我的梅在万里之外。
抬头再看天上的满月，
似有梅会意的笑容。
